On the celebration of our 112th Independence Celebration, Filipinos will gather together on 18th June (Fri) at Al Nasr Leisureland which will start from 8am to 11pm.  A surprise GMA-7  Artists coming from Manila will celebrate the occasion with us.   There will be program from morning until evening with Mini Bazaar, showing of premier movie titled “You To Me Are Everything” of Dindong Dantes & Marian Rivera and full of fun & surprises.

Congratulations to Mr. Mario Cardenas, Lightform Member in Abu Dhabi Chapter for winning 3rd Place in the recently concluded 5th Emirates Photography Competition – Al Dhafra Festival in Photographer’s Eyes, which was organized by Abu Dhabi Authority of Culture and Heritage (ADACH) and supervised by The Abu Dhabi International Association of Photography.  Awarding ceremony was held on 1^st of June 2010 at National Theater, Abu Dhabi, UAE.  He won a trophy and AED 12,000 (US $ 3,260) cash.  His winning  photo has been recognized and displayed for exhibit until June 23 at National Theater, Abu Dhabi Exhibition Hall.  This competition was viewed by international photographers of all levels.  “As such, I am very pleased to represent and give honor to our country and to Lightform for winning this competition”, said Mario Cardenas.

Batch 2 of Abu Dhabi Chapter woke up early to travel to Dubai and have their 2nd Outdoor at Zabeel Park.  Level 1 of Batch 1 joined the trip to practice their Street Photography.  Sponsored by: Lumix of Panasonic, M.E.
